What Can We Do to Decrease Stress Levels During this Elevated Crisis Time?

We humans are creatures of our senses. These senses reveal to us, in so many ways, what is in our environment and they help us to process these experiences as good or bad.

Because many of us have hyper-developed theses senses to activate our fight or flight instinct, we in some way need to be able to regulate our response, particularly during the extraordinary times we find ourselves in today.

Many stress relief techniques can be utilized to help us with this decompressing and I have researched a bit online to discover some options depending on your personality and what works for you. One that I have found particularly helpful, and that I use quite often, is discovering photos that express a time or place or even memories that evoke positive emotions. Tell me, if you look at some of the below, what you feel after gazing at them for a while! I took these photos at Giverny during one of those special family trips!

Some may prefer beaches, mountains or totally wild safari type images. Whatever works for you, soak it in and drop your adrenaline levels and also your blood pressure by quite a few millimeters. Breathe, stay healthy and well!
